The training centres are open from 8:30 a.m. to accommodate early arrivals, with registration ideally completed each day by 9:15 a.m.
Courses at Remarc usually start at 9.30 a.m. and finish at 4.30 p.m. but the start times for your specific course will be included in your Joining Instructions.
There is no formal dress code for delegates attending courses at Remarc. Casual is fine and what most people choose…please just bear in mind other delegates’ (and our staff’s) possible sensibilities.
Refreshments and a buffet lunch are provided for you in the comfort of our delegate lounges. Your course will have a mid-morning and afternoon break, with refreshments available and you will also be offered a full buffet lunch with a wide selection of options, including vegetarian as standard. Your joining instructions will give you the opportunity to note any additional/alternative dietary requirements, which we will try to accommodate.
You might like to arrive early and relax with a drink and the papers, just to set you up for the day.
Wireless access is provided to delegates free of charge in our refreshment areas in Leeds and Manchester.
Our reception staff will make sure you receive any messages left for you as promptly as is appropriate.
The location of the Remarc training centre you are attending is provided in your joining instructions, with a link to an online map.
The Leeds and Manchester centres are city centre locations, easily accessible by all forms of public transport (our Manchester centre’s nearest train station is Piccadilly) and with parking facilities within walking distance.
The West Midlands centre is a five minute car journey from Telford city centre. It can be easily reached by bus and is a short taxi ride or fifteen minute walk from Telford train station.
The Remarc centre in London is a short walk from the Barbican tube station and can also be reached using the 55, 56, 153 & 243 bus services.
All delegates receive their Joining Instructions before the start of the course. These instructions confirm the start date for the course and the Remarc location at which the training is being held. You’ll also find the name of your Remarc account manager, in case of any issues.
The joining instructions contain relevant information regarding the course itself, such as pre-course reading, start and finish times, exam times and booking information (if required) and a outline of the course (just to refresh your memory!)
All delegates who attend a course at Remarc receive 12 months post-course support for IT Applications & Technical courses and 90 days of post-course support on Programme, Project & Risk Management, ITIL, SDI and Learning & Development training. Delegates are provided with a support e-mail address for their queries during the course.
